This is version two. I've been using it for awhile and I'm thinking of additions to make v 3.0 better. It has three compartments inside the zipper pocket to seperate money from receipts and so on. THe outside pocket fits a number of cards, with a snap to make sure they all stay in. Though it's pretty difficult to get them out even with the snap undone, so that may have been unnecessary.
The most exciting bit is actually the RFID blocked I put in. Aluminum Foil is a natural RFID blocker. While I'm not a big fan of the stuff (way too harmful for the environment to create, even with recycled aluminum), it's quite useful. It's not sewn in as much as it's slid into place after everything was turned right side out. v 1.0 included the aluminum foil basted in, but turning the wallet right side out practically destroyed the fragile stuff (not to mention made a huge mess).

I made this wallet for my friend Judit, who lives in Hungary! I love the way it came out with the different colors and textures. This is the new style of wallet that I'm offering in my shop called the "Tomboy Wallet." It has a place for paper money, coins, and has four slots for cards. Isn't it fun??

I love these tea wallets -- they really exemplify exactly the things I like to make. They're made with gorgeous natural linen and decorated with a patchwork made from upcycled tea packets.
A credit/debit/ID card wallet. The image of the Mona Lisa was printed directly onto a 1mm sheet of baked polymer clay via my inkjet printer.
It was time. But that Thousand-Digits-of-Pi hunk of glued Tyvek lasted me over four years!
Replaced by FedEx envelope.
This is my newest craft project. It's a no-sew wallet chain made from a piece of tailor's tape.
The wallet was assembled using the metal bits that are on the end of the measuring tape.
I'll probably create an instructable for this after I have tested mine out for a bit.
my first project with piping... i needed a wallet that would hold cards, coins and checkbook and not be hideous or bulky... :)

i made up 12 little "kits" of wallets, change purses and cell phone holders with various combinations of keys, tickets, change, photos, expired driver's licences, hotel keycards, subway tokens, and depleted gift cards, as well as interesting pictures and some thomas trading cards. T has seen a lot of this before, but there were far fewer objects to look at and i made the mistakes of (1) putting it all in the basket at one time, and (2) hiding jelly beans in some of the pockets. this time i'm offering only three kits at a time, changing out one each night. and no jelly beans! that aspect really spoiled the idea of exploration for its own sake.
My first full-sized wallet! My first zipper! Now I just need some money to go in it! (Camera is broken - from now on I'm using my cell phone for photography!) :(
