Der Wald in Pöllwitz erinnert an manchen Plätzen fast an einen Urwald. Das Gebiet wird renaturiert, sodaß irgendwann wieder offene Moorflächen und feuchte Waldgebiete entstehen. Obwohl das Projekt gerade erst gestartet wurde, sieht das Waldgebiet vielerorts bereits urwüchsig aus.
In some places, the forest in Pöllnitz is almost reminiscent of a primeval forest. The area will be renatured, so that open moor areas and moist forest areas will eventually emerge. Although the project has only just started, the forest area in many places already looks unspoilt.
