The Bavarian Forest Museum covers about 25 hectares and has over 150 buildings from the period from 1580 to 1850 and a local history collection with 60,000 items. It is thus one of the largest open air museums in Europe.

Die kleine Ohe ist ein sehr bekannter, vielbesuchter Fotospot im Bayerischen Wald.
'Kleine Ohe' is a very well-known, much-visited photo spot in the Bavarian Forest.
From an extensive photo trip to the Hunsrück forest at the fog line.
Von einem ausgedehnten Fotoausflug in den Hunsrückwald an der Nebelgrenze.
Ein schmaler Moosweg zog sich durch die Baumgruppen und eigentlich wäre es total dunkel gewesen, wenn nicht das Sonnenlicht durch einen schmalen Schlitz zwischen den Baumkronen als Restlichtverstärker fungiert hat. Es war regnerisch an diesem Tag und der Boden war sehr nass. Dany, meinem Hund hat dieses Ambiente allerdings gefallen. Er wollte gar nicht mehr aus dem Wald heraus.
Ich wünsche Euch eine schöne Woche und man sieht sich hier wieder...
A narrow moss trail stretched through the clumps of trees and actually it would have been totally dark, if not the sunlight has acted as a residual light amplifier through a narrow slit between the treetops. It was rainy that day and the ground was very wet. Dany, my dog liked this ambiance, though. He did not want to leave the woods at all.

Ich war eigentlich unterwegs um Pilze zu fotografieren und hatte mein 30 Jahre altes Minolta Makro Objektiv drauf und plötzlich war er da..........ein unglaubliches Erlebnis.
Ich bin immer wieder erstaunt wie gut die alten Minolta Linsen funktionieren. Minolta Makro 100mm 1:2,8
When the humidity of the night rising up out of the forest and laying down on the trees like a curtain. When the fog is hiding in the shadows of the valleys that the sun can not reach it. Thats really a great sight.
Wenn am frühen Morgen die Feuchtigkeit der Nacht aus dem Wald empor steigt und sich wie ein Schleier über die Bäume legt. Wenn sich der Nebel im Schatten der Täler versteckt damit ihn die Sonne nicht erreicht. Das ist schon ein toller Anblick.
Es ist nicht leicht, unberührte Natur in meinem Wohngebiet zu finden. Aber manchmal finde ich einen schönen Ort, wo die Natur Natur sein kann und wo ich meinen Ort der Ruhe finde.
