day 15

sleep around early to wake up yesterday

eggs

thinking of chicken

elegance

visiting the pet store again,

argueing for hours with the clerk

waking up around noon to feel

extra-late

day sixteen.

younger than ever before.

I wake up and feel all woken.

forgot breakfast.

this tradition sucks.

day seventeen.

12 0´clock lunchtime,

mom´s calling.

10 years to the gutter.

I want back what belongs to me and will take what you keep away from me

I take what did not belong to me. sold it to officers for lunch at snacktime.

burgled my own car, drove around for a while.

day eighteen.

there wont be trouble today.

day 19.

feeling dead.

one of my blacker days. watching those things on the telly I already watched years ago.

thinking about thinking about the past. whats the deal with that. did I question that earlier?

I think of bulbs. I think of investigating.

sneaking around for a while. I wanna see it in a whole new light.

too skinny, attacked by passer-bys, beating me up in passing by.

bleeding.

feeling alive.

day 20

change the blankets. morning dew, what can I do today? I go to work.

get fire all at once. hadn’t even entered the building, got my papers. lots and lots of

screaming and yelling. i don’t give a heck.

going to see laura.

thinking of her big ones.

go to the mall first.

candy, mags and vitamins. maybe I give them as presents today.

I feel like giving.

standing at the gates, all locked-in.

going hoem, change the blankets again.

I need the feel to be done.

have to make up a plan.

so much more days to come.

stay there.

coming through.

a breakthrough performance. lots of handshakes and milkshakes. thinking of milk.

spilling a drink again. buying new whiskey and celebrate the way.

ruining the evening just for the fun of it.

ruining a company in passing-by.

burning money big time.

travelling to Switzerland.

day 23

arriving in Switzerland, lusty.

becoming a mob, thousands of faces and voices.

can´t understand a word.

looking for girls, looking for action.

forgot the mace.

forgot the plan.

what was I thinking about?

lots and lots of castles, lots of huts and rivers.

lots of all that I missed the last days.

day 24

forgot my suitcase there.

didn’t pay the hostel.

did not leave a note and didnt noticed my leave.

woke up in my circumstances.

chances are, I´ll loose today.

try to get a grip.

try to get ahold.

get a new car instead, convertible.

driving around for days.

realizing its just hours.

buying new tapes at the thriftstore.

go to the movies: wrong turn.

spend the rest of the day in nightime

vomiting like a sick dog. nearly lost my life. why is my world not ending at all.

still going strong. 7 more years til the end of my world. seven more years of bad luck.

daylight stings my eyes, staying up awake to feel extra-special.

feeling late to be special, but doing what has to be done.

It felt SO good to look into the sunshine again

I really need to find a new picture to play with. This is the same one I've been posting over and over, but photoshopped again using some techniques I got out of a magazine. I also cropped it differently and I played with the exposure settings on Photoshop. I promise I'm quiting after this one.

2013 Photo Challenge, week 2: Self portrait.

Hi, all. My name is Chuck, and I live in Brooklyn, NY, USA with my wife and almost-five-year-old son.

For this assignment, I combined 2 of my least favorite things: waking up and being photographed. Set up the camera next to the alarm clock and took turns pushing the buttons on top.

Sadly, this qualifies as not a bad picture of me. At least the scowl is in context...
