Here in Berlin-Hellersdorf, children can come and get something warm to eat, clothing, help with homework or just hang out with friends all under the umbrella of Bernd, a pastor who has made it his mission to help those most vulnerable in society.

Mona Relief ground crew delivered for the third time urgent aid to vulnerable families in Wadi Ahmed Area in Sana'a.

Today's mission targeted 100 families there with blankets funded by a local donor and dignity kits funded by IOM Yemen.

Our humanitarian work was covered by local and international media outlets.

Pictures here showing you the real situation of families there.

Facts about Wadi Ahmed area

Wadi Ahmed in the capital Sana'a is located in eastern Sana'a and it is the most populated area in the capital Sana'a.

This area is a full of many vulnerable families and IDPs, who fled from Sa'ada, Taiz and Hajjeh governorates to this area. Most families there are under the level of poverty line, they don't have enough food, or clean water and they don't have any kid of furniture such as beds or blankets, children there are in dire need for everything, they don't have clothes or shoes to wear as most pictures showing you the real situation of families there.

In brief, the Wadi Ahmed area is a full of diseases and most children there don't receive any kind of health care services or any kind of education. I have seen many disabled who living in a very bad situation.

Mona Relief's volunteers conducted a survey for most needy families and IDPs, when we could entered to most houses in that area we shocked for the situation of families there.

I've never felt this vulnerable and down in my entire life. These past few months have been absolute hell.

Honestly though, it's slowly becoming a motivation for me to pick my ass up and move on.

This year we went deeper in understanding the needs of vulnerable children in our care in Africa. We’ve heard stories of modern day child slaves living in the overcrowded slums of Nigeria. We've heard about the war and injustice in Goma, in the eastern DR Congo, and of the recent cholera outbreak that affected hundreds of children. We've learned about children from Swaziland who sleep in a field in the bitter cold and beg and scratch for food by day.

Realmente me das pena. Y has vuelto.

All of these flowers are either in my front or back yard, and they kind of came with the place. I have at least two different kinds of roses, an azalea bush, something similar to a rose but not a rose, these lovely little white flowers, wild strawberries and some ground cover plant that is vaguely reminiscent of lettuce... with violet flowers. I guess considering how colorful the inside of the house was when I got it, I shouldn't be surprised that the outside contained just as many colors.

These four image in a row are not my cats - we need to find homes for them in about 4 weeks in the Phoenix area. Read the story here:

This little kitten is in a special crate with his/her siblings and a pretty green water dish. My landlady got them special food today and will raise them to they are old enough for good homes. Kris is truly Mother Nature, and here it is, Mother's Day.

Float down the stream, rivers of dreams.

Float down the stream, catch your wings.

Heavens so high, so you fly.

Catch your dreams in the sky.

But bright lights have blinded your sights,

They cant adjust when day turns to night

And so you watch me was away,

But maybe we'll catch up some day

The longest bridge in Island lies over the dark desert formed by jökulhlaups crossind Morsa and Skeiðará rivers descending from Vatnajökull glacier with anti-flood constructions on the left.

Every time the glacial outburst occurs the floods of water and sand destroy the bridge and it seems to be impossible task to build an jokulhlaup-resistant bridge. As the bridge is more expensive and needs more time to reconstruction after the floods the road engineers try to make bridge as short as possible so for a long distance the Route 1 goes on the black dunes and quicksands of Skeiðarár Sandur

A Narcissist typically seems arrogant, grandiose, manipulative, entitled, and lacking in empathy.

But if these defining features are understood at a deeper level, as powerful psychological defenses to protect them from experiencing a truly frightening vulnerability, a quite different picture e...

"The southern crowned-pigeon has been hunted to extinction throughout much of its range in the south-east and now survives only in forests far away from towns, villages and roads, and the associated threat of humans. Unfortunately, its preferred habitat is also highly desired by timber companies and as logging opens up more remote areas, creating access for hunters, the southern crowned-pigeon is likely to become increasingly threatened."

"WHAT IF LOVE,

expressed itself in protecting the vulnerable?

In defending the innocent?

In restoring the broken and the hurting?

In empowering survivors to become ones who thrive?

WHAT A WORLD THAT WOULD BE FOR CHILDREN.

WHAT A WORLD THAT WOULD BE FOR US.

That sort of change often starts with one voice,

but when that voice gets added to another voice

and added to another voice,

IT BECOMES THIS GREAT COLLECTIVE SHOUT

That shout leads to action and that's when change happens.

What we need is a collective shout.

We need your voice.

We need your Love."
