Shameless self-promotion.. but it's election time in Finland anyway, so why not advertise here too. LOL!!
Canada voted today
Since people's first reaction here is to take off slushy / muddy / dirty shoes upon entering a house (and who can blame them?) this sign was put on at the polling station to encourage people to come in unhindered.
Just got back actually.
I've felt a lot of pressure this year on who to vote for. Some people state their opinions as facts and then act like anyone who has different opinions are uninformed or just idiots.
That bugs me. I think everyone has their own beliefs and opinions for their own reasons. No one is wrong.
I just want the majority of the people who care enough to vote to get what they want. Whether its who I voted for or not.

Fourth one in to the polling station this morning.
Safe seat, though. Not so much voting as registering an interest in potential future enfranchisement opportunities.
Just a small portion of the massive two-hour line Val and I waited in to vote on Tuesday morning. Note the FOUR voting machines in the background -- each precinct had four. Now try and count all the people.

The outcome of today vote will be Parliament's position for the negotiations with the Council in a 21-day conciliation period. In July, the European Council decided to limit the increase of the budget to inflation, whereas Parliament tends to follow the lead set by the European Commission in wanting to restore the cuts proposed by the Council.

So they say in Canada that some women can vote in a Niqab - so what happens if some women vote in a transparent top with shorts? Will this be allowed?
Canadian views, eh? - NIQAB heading to ballot box Oct-19
So in this photo i have tagged all the eliminated girls and im asking for you to vote for your favorite out of the four! this will help influence my descision! ONLY THE ELIMINATED GIRLS CAN VOTE!
I hope you did too.
I never get a sticker since I vote absentee, so today when I dropped my ballot off at the polling place I made sure to ask for one.
Sorry it's such a lame photo.

I'm not going to lie...these were mind-numbing. I have realized one thing about myself is that I really do not like doing all the same cookie...52 times. And then I did 110 stars....on Mother's Day weekend no less! Anyhow, these were for a promotion for the local Convention and Visitors Bureau - they wanted "vintage" looking Vote badges.
