Bell Rock in Sedona, Arizona is famous as a site for a strong metaphysical energy vortex popularized in the 1960's - 70's by Page Bryant, a prominent New Age mystic and former Sedona resident. I remain very skeptical, but wondered what a metaphysical vortex might look like if it were visible. Processed with Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz filters.

One of the most popular meditation sites near Sedona, Arizona, Bell Rock is considered an Upflow area, best for serenity and spiritual problem solving.
I don't know how accurate the concept of the vortexes is around Sedona, but thousands of people are convinced, and I don't begrudge them that. What I do know is that, in monochrome, the image of Bell Rock from this vantage on Baby Bell to the North, is powerful, when the cloud cover, sun angle, and atmospheric conditions are just right.
This is my interpretation of the Masculine Energy Vortex at Bell Rock in April 2019.

A Vortex is a place in nature where the earth is exceptionally alive with energy. The term Vortex in Sedona refers to a place where the earth energy swirls and draws to it’s center everything that surrounds it like a tornado. At these magical sites, trees often exhibit this swirling or twisting of their trunks due the powerful vortex energy at the core of a Sedona Vortex.

Insane exploding surf from last weekend's massive swell. After traveling across the globe from south of New Zealand to the US West coast, the swell was still packing an incredible amount of energy. Epic stuff.
