this is inside the house of mystery at the oregon vortex. the vortex is real, i think, but this house may be full of trickery. it's still pretty neat, though. i felt quite seasick.

 

ps. let's also hope that kid isn't wearing roller shoes...

Vortex, still one of the prettiest rides at Kings Island, for my money.

A machine showing how a tornado is formed, this is the only pic I could get, kids kept jumping in the machine.. little brats. :-P

Anyway I did this painting at a group I go to a few months ago. Today it's how I feel...like I'm stuck in a vortex beyond my control.

Thomas Cook Airlines Boeing 757-200 (757-2Y0) G-FCLJ is seen on short approach to Toronto Lester B. Pearson Airport (YYZ).

 

Two vortex trails (condensation trails, often called "contrails" by planespotters) can be seen at the outward edges of the flaps.

This hand-made marble is about 1.75" wide. It was purchased in Monterrey, California. This is the bottom. On top of the vortex (the point of which is in the center) there sits a little air bubble. It is really quite an interesting piece of glass.
