This fits the theme of Textile Tuesday, 4.2.08: Vortex.I kind of freeformed it insofar as I did not plan the pattern; each row I decided what to do next.

For this shot, I took a 30 second exposure and for the last 5 seconds or so I turned my head of my tripod to the horizontal position making the lights look this way but still keeping the image foundation.

Vessel is designed for escort operations, harbour work as well as ocean towage. It is equipped with oil recovery and fire fighting equipment (FiFi 1) and fully equipped for salvage in open waters.
Following shots presenting the formation of vortex. Initially shallow invagination develops in to the long and massive vortex.

I didn't notice it at the time of taking the image; but noticed the whirlpool like vortex in front of this surfer when viewing it on my monitor.
So-called because it was partly inspired by the swirling time vortex from the opening of Doctor Who.
