Mass for Vocations Sunday 2017 was broadcast on RTÉ One Television on Sunday 7 May. The choir included students (past and present), and friends of the National Centre for Liturgy in Maynooth and seminarians from the National Seminary. Musical Director for the Mass was Sister Moira Bergin.

Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world.
Mr. Anis Yunus and some others members of Rotarian Club Karachi were aware of the humanitarian efforts of Lodhie Foundation and its Founder Mr. Pervaiz Lodhie, taking the advantage of presence of Mr, Lodhie in Karachi Pakistan, Mr. Anis Yunus invited for speech to Rotarians who are making efforts for creating soft image of Pakistan in the world.
A holy hour with the Vocation Monstrance, blessed by Pope John Paul II, that traveled around our Diocese for a week after Easter.
The team on the vocations stand singing the opening hymn; the Revd Stephen Partridge (Lytchetts and Upton), the Revd Michael Chandler (Royal Wootton Bassett), Adrian Smale (St. Paul’s, Salisbury).
On Saturday, June 5, 2021, at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew in Grand Rapids, Bishop David Walkowiak ordained Deacon Noah Thelen to the priesthood. Friends, family, clergy, and religious were present to support and celebrate Father Thelen, our diocese's newest priest.
Father Thelen celebrated a Mass of Thanksgiving on Sunday, June 6, at St. Patrick Church in Grand Haven. He has been appointed by Bishop Walkowiak as parochial vicar of St. Francis de Sales Parish, Holland.
