If you want to get multiple angles on a talk you give, be sure to come speak at the International Forum of Visual Practitioners Conference. This shot shows four of us (I'm the guy in the blue shirt) creating large scale visual notes of Dan Roam's talk about why visual thinking is so powerful.

Embarrassment is a partner in the creative process—a key collaborator.
~ Anne Bogart
Creativity involves taking a lot of risks. And there's no guarantee every risk taken will unfold perfectly. Highly creative people are willing to risk embarrassment in the hope it will lead to a great creation.
Every creative act, whether big or small, involves this risk to some degree. In fact, many great inventions were laughed at when first introduced. So the possibility of embarrassment is not just limited to the arts.
If your work does not sufficiently embarrass you, then very likely no one will be touched by it.

A bunny kept stopping by the front door. Trevor carries a shoe-less Charlie back after they both pee in the bushes—the water was connected to the electricity, so we couldn't flush the toilets with the power out. Power returns at 2:00am, the second night in a row I can't sleep. End up drawing in bed on the iPad instead. Woke up at 5:00am and had a nice chat with Arnold.
