A quiet landscape just before the light changes.
The sky holds its brightness while the land below slowly reveals its texture — heath, forest, and a solitary tree standing still against the horizon.
I wanted to keep the drama in the sky soft and natural, while gently lifting the landscape to bring forward its depth and calm mood.
For me, this moment is about balance: light and shadow, openness and solitude.
Taken in natural light.
Alone.
She was alone.
A young and innocent girl,
Walking on earth by her own.
She kept with her a teeny bottle,
Full of humble crystalline water.
She wanted people to see,
How beautiful was her precious treasure.
But, no one,
Nobody, never,
Laid eyes on her.
Crowd skirted the girl,
Like a stream around a rock.
Every step of the way,
Was beautifying her beloved bottle,
But even though,
She remained a ghost for the world.
No scream nor beam,
No laugh nor tear,
Would never ever change.
Her eyes statued to endlessly see,
The only beauty she ever knew.
Alone,
She was alone,
Walking toward high seas.
Once reached the Ocean,
The girl did not even stopped.
Her flooded hands oppened the bottle,
While her steps tunred into fathom.
Below a gloomy and full moon night,
The lonely girl was surrounded by twinkling lights.
Since the beginning,
Her water was full of glowing and fluorescent creatures,
Souls that may only be revealed under a full moon sky.
She was the only one who knew.
By a full moon night,
Merging with shadows of trice and Sea,
The girl of the Ocean disappeared,
Into the abyss of time.
And no one will ever know,
This stirring spirit of the sea.
[Powerfull powerless Solitude]

Anchor Church in Derbyshire - Anchor Church is the name given to this series of caves in a Keuper Sandstone (Triassic conglomerate) outcrop, close to the village of Ingleby, Derbyshire, England. The caves have been extended by human intervention to form a crude dwelling place, complete with door and window holes. So we thought we'd spin some wool inside!!!!
The sandstone outcrop once formed part of the banks of the River Trent and the caves were formed by the action of the river on the rock. The course of the river has altered and left the caves opening onto a backwater pool.
