Label reads:" Cowra Estate Established 1973 The Original Cowra Vineyard The Cowra name is from the aboriginal "Coura" and "Mulyan" (Eagle on rock). Our 75 hectare Estate was planted in 1973 and pioneered viticulture in the area. The undulating vineyards, set at an altitude of 315m., combines long warm nights, and well drained soils producing wines which rate with the world's finest. A typical elegant and soft style Cabernet influenced by the great wines of Bordeaux. This wine displays obvious full berry fruitbouquet with subtle vanilla oak characters. It has a well balanced medium weight pallet with white pepper and spicey notes. The wine has surprising lingering flavour. Matured in oak for a minimum of 1 year.
