my grandma is in an assisted care facility and the kids and I went to visit her...good but hard. She's happy and loves her new home...I just miss seeing her more often. I showed her this picture on my camera and she said, "There I am, right?" Isn't she cute?

Visiting Paris with friends September 2013

In April 2009 six Nottingham teenagers set out on incredible journey to learn about the rainforest and to spend seven days living with the Baka people. The Baka have lived in the Cameroon rainforest for thousands of years yet their rights are still not recognised by Cameroonian law. The students, national winners of the Giving Nation Awards, won the chance to spend a week with the Baka in the heart of the forest learning about the work of environmental charity the Rainforest Foundation to protect the rights of the Baka and the forest that has been central to their way of life and livelihoods for thousands of years.

Beautiful coast community in the "banana belt" where it's sunny most of the year (unlike a lot of the rest of the California coast).

Visiting Artist Program at P.S. 147

Bushwick, Brooklyn

I was in Nottingham meeting wonderful people at Winwood Heights retirement village and campaigning with our local Labour candidates. (4th December, 2019)

Labour will ensure that our social care system is one of dignity.

I was in Hastings to support our Labour candidates. I also visited a local homeless charity, Surviving the Streets. (2nd December, 2019)

In the fifth richest country in the world no one should be sleeping rough.

Labour will end rough sleeping and tackle homelessness because we see a decent home as a right owed to all, not a privilege for the few.

Arlington National Cemetery

I got lost at Arlington National Cemetery looking for Major Tom. All I know is that Sharkbait would be laughing his ass off at me, and I'll bet he is. One of my very best friends in aviation, Tom Delashaw flew two tours in Southeast Asia, the first in F-104's, the second in Phantoms. He continued flying Starfighters until we lost him in 2003 in a flying accident while in a Hawker Hunter. I miss you, Tom.
