This seems like a random couple of photos. They actually depict the smugness (is that a word?) that I am feeling at the moment.
The first is my slice of Lemon Tart. I declined it this evening after dinner, as I am back on the 'straight and narrow' after being just a teeny tiny bit over-indulgant at Christmas.
The second is my saucepan of chicken bones, being bolied to make stock. This always makes me feel very virtuous indeed. I can't wait to make Delia's Risotto Carbonara with it. Yum Yum.

Regular and Premium low shimmer highlight/all over base colors; swatched dry on the outside of my forearm; it's more tanned than the inside of my arm (which i usually use for swatches) so hopefully you can see the differences between the colors better. If you look closely, the first 2 shadows (the 'regular' shadows) have more shimmer; the last 3 (the 'premium' shadows) have more sheen & shine.

Domesticated documents my experience as a new mother; the good and the bad. Diaristic in nature, these portraits are based on snapshots from my life, offering an unglamorous look at modern family life. As a series, I wanted to subvert the more virtuous and romanticised depictions of motherhood while taking a tongue-in-cheek approach.
Time Alone Together depicts my failed attempt at having a relaxing bath on my own. The tight composition and overwhelming magenta, give an “off” feeling to the portrait. But my daughter Daisy and I are happy together. There is a tension, but it is not overpowering.
Ultimately, throughout the collection, I wanted a sense of love and joy to overcome any disease, and the use of bright, happy colours was vital in keeping that balance. The use of monochromatic hues represents the contradictory flatness and brightness of parenthood. There is a sense of one-dimensionality, yet there is dynamism and life. Parenthood can be lonely and isolating, but it is bright and fun. These paintings are not about parenthood being oppressive but about the contradictory feelings we experience and the connections we hold with our children.

As children of God we have been given an eraser to take care of our mistakes. It is repentance.

Object Lesson:
Materials needed: An eraser.
Procedure: Ask your family to suppose that at the beginning of each school year each student was given an eraser to use. When a mistake was made, the eraser would be used to correct it instead of writing over it or crossing it out. This would allow the student to correct the error and learn from it. It would not be important how much of the eraser was left at the end or the year. What would matter would be that it was used each time it was needed. Therefore, even a student who made many errors could finish the year successfully.
Explain that as children of God we have been given an eraser to take care of our mistakes. It is repentance. It is important that we don't cover up or ignore our shortcomings. We must use the process our Savior's atonement made possible for us to correct the errors in our lives. In the end it will not matter how often we have had to rely on repentance. What will matter is whether we did repent every time it was needed. By doing this we can finish this earth life successfully.
Story:
I once asked a young boy graduating from Primary what was his favorite scripture story. "The Tower of Babel," he quickly responded. His answer was somewhat of a shock for me, so I asked him what that story taught him. "It teaches me that there is only one way to get to heaven," he said.
We cannot build our own stairway to heaven; we must climb the one the Lord has provided. This stairway is constructed by the Lord, for He stands waiting for His children to climb toward Him. Far too many people want to build their own stairway, and though they may proceed with their construction plans, they never reach high enough to achieve the goal of reunion with our Father in Heaven. There is no other stair!
Activity:
Show the family a picture of Jesus Christ.
Pass the picture around the family. As each family member holds it, have them express their feelings for the Savior.

Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 cup grated cheese
1 16-ounce package frozen broccoli, chopped
1 package Italian dressing mix
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized baking dish and bake at 350° F. for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with your favorite chips or raw vegetables.
