Name you virtual machine. I named mine Linux Mint. Then, choose what type of operating system it is. Choose Ubunut because Linux Mint is a variation of Ubuntu. Click Next

Click the file that you wish to download (light or full).

Name your virtual hard disk. By default, it is the same as the virtual machine name. Then, set the size (4gb min, 8gb reccomended.)

Switch to the audio tab. Check enable audio

The file will now download.

Once the software is downloaded, install it and then launch the software. Click "New:" to make a new virtual machine.

When Linux Mint is done installing. Click Restart Now. On the shutdown screen, hit the right CTRL key to get your cursor out of the VM windows and then attempt to close the window. In the message that will appear, click Power Off Machine.
