Appearantly, my VM of XP in VMWare Fusion has some issues with the Mac Mini's 3D card. And this is what I get when I start the XP VM sometimes. Pretty ain't it? ;)

For those of you who don't know, VMWare Fusion allows you to run virtual machines on your Mac. I run Windows XP to test in IE6 and IE7 as well as running Office when needed.

The situation becomes more complicated when the test is performed on browsers across different platforms & devices (Operating System – Linux, Windows, Android, iOS, etc. Device Types – Desktops, Mobiles, Tablets, etc.).

Still, this is a revelation! Crossover no longer requires hacking to install Office '07... and supposedly many other apps.

Select your new virtual machine and then click the settings button.
