Charming downtown Camas, Washington during Autumn. Small town charm north of Portland, Oregon. Shot using a vintage Canon FD 50 mm f1.8 manual lens on a Sony a6000 mirrorless body. Shot with the aperture wide open at f1.8.

These two crispy orange leaves dropped down in front of me whilst I was sat on the grass. In the warmth of the sun, I could feel the chill of the north wind; the merging of seasons begins again...

I bought him like this, i do not agree with this practice. But many birds get away and die when they are nestling's I guess.

***UPDATE***

His wings have almost all grown back and he is learning to fly.

As i got this bird from the rescue to keep my aging Enda (other cockatiel) company,

I hadn't realized just how much older she had gotten, and passed away shortly there after. I miss her and her gentle ways.
