It's a girl!! My friend Melissa had a perfectly beautiful baby!! 6lb 4oz. Welcome miss Gabriella Stephanie!!!
1) I chose this filter because it makes the picture more interesting.
2) This filter enhances the picture by drawing the focal point to the suns and the planes flying through it.
Any ideas? This shot was taken with my Canon 100mm 2.8, mounted on a full set (around 60mm) of no-brand extension tubes (with no electrical contacts). The flash (430ex, on bracket and diffused with coke can diffuser) was set manual at 1/8 power, and positioned above the lens, pointing towards the subject.
Aperture was manually set to f16 using the lens on the body, then DoF preview button, removing and mounting on the tubes.
The subject was on a windowsill, well lit.
The point: There's a big hotspot in the middle of the image. When looking through the viewfinder, vignetting is clearly visible. Can anyone advise as to the reason? Thanks in advance!
