Went exploring Cork again this morning camera in hand. Only to realise that I had left the now fully charged battery on the table at home. Thankfully the always useful iPhone was to hand to allow me capture a few memories

This series features homegrown heirloom tomatoes*. As everyone with a garden knows, when tomatoes turn ripe, they all seem to ripen at the same time. So we had a whole bunch of different types of tomatoes waiting to be bagged & frozen for the winter. I was just going to take a shot or two.. and then got a bit carried away. I tried a few different things with composition, lighting & post production, I think some things worked better than others so, please let me know what you think.

Can't wait to try this beast out. Coincidentally, I have an old Leitz enlarger just like that one.

My contribution to InnovaLUG's vignette collab for February - theme is winter castle!

I didn't have as many trans light blue poles as I would have liked, but tried to use three to represent some sleet, and bring some much needed color to the vignette.

Other vignettes in the collab:

The Door in the Mountain

Iaere Castle

Defiance

every other doll looks better with MSR hair!

This is just a small vignette, that I've made while waiting for the bricks for my next building series. I wanted to build something small to display my lions family, I got some time ago.

Here's a coloured version of a b&w photo I had Explored recently, plus a lot more vingetting!

The photo was processed for a YouTube video I've just posted on Vignettes, and Vignetting techniques.

In the eighteen century and afterwards, vignettes sometimes involved vines/leaves drawn around the border of a page, so this image - partly bordered by leaves - seemed an appropriate image.

A study of the overlooked—ordinary moments and scenes briefly transformed by the play of light, revealing hidden beauty in the unseen.

Nov 23. A well known shot produced by many a photographer before me. Still I had to go and take "my version" to admire the view. 3 shots merged in Lightroom HDR

Nov 23, Stumbled on this location as I walked the city one wet evening. I was searching for lights glistening in the wet pavement to give reflections. This fitted the bill nicely, so I fired off a few frames before continuing on my way

A very similar colour palette as two previous posts (which were from Burano Venice). Light was a little different though :)

This shop is a relatively new discovery for me. We buy Shizandra's raw food from here. I simply love photographing this little vignette outside the store.

My entry to the 12x12 vignette category of the Summer Joust, as well as a Guilds of Historica free build. I hope you like it!

Nov 23. I like the way the street lamps play with the colours of the wall (and the temperature balance of the image) bringing a sense of unease to the image. I was grateful to the man stopping in that exact spot engrossed in his phone message also as I stood in the shadow, He compliments the painted man so well. As for me does the warn window light and the double yellow parking lines
