I painted the candles and the tiny frame and added a tiny picture.

A little random vignette I rigged together in LEGO Digital Designer. The building shapes in the background are actually 3D OBJ files imported directly into LDD! For a how-to, check out this video here-->HOW:TO Import any 3D object into LEGO Digital Designer. Anywho, the vignette is just a recreation of the Batmobile Chase scene from Batman (1989). The Batmobile is being pursued by a pack of The Joker's thuggies, who in turn are being stalked by a lone police squad car.

For the first attempt at improving in Design, I decided to go smoothly and apply tutorials to both learn in general as well as be familiar with the interface of Pixelmator.

This image regroups:

- a vintage effect

- an inverted ghosting effect (it's applied on the background rather than on my friend and I)

- a vignette effect

I think this picture with a vignette is pretty cool. Peacocks are beautiful creatures and to frame it like that is awesome.

+ The way it frames and looks awesome

- Could have faded the background more

The vignette is actually my lens hood - at 18mm you can see it and it gives the impression of the edited vignette.

A vignette that I made mainly to test my plate contouring/foliage skills. It's a start, I suppose.

Experiment 2 in camera phone aesthetics: A piece of clear tape and some black ink to increase lens vignetting (darkening of corners).

In traditional photography it's often considered a problem / feature of cheap lenses. It can be used to add some mood and direct attention. I remember local newspaper Helsingin Sanomat using this a lot some years ago.

This vignette is located in the pass through between the livingroom and bedroom. The mirror and buffet are from Crate-n-Barrel, and they will eventually go into the dining room of my bungalow. The file drawers are from Pottery Barn. The phone is excellent and was found at the Alameda Antique Fair. It works, but we don't use it (I mean, you can't play video games on it or download music). It's purely for decoration. The wood, handless statue of the saint came from a vendor at the Alhemany Flea Market. I believe the clock is from Target, and the mannequin hand was purchased by mistake (what can I say, I'm a blonde at heart).

Processed with Kim Klassen Breeze Preset and a little texture, which I can't remember.
