Sunset off of Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island in Manatee County, Florida.
A similar image to one that I had posted a short time ago, but in a vertical composition. The sky was so amazing on this evening, and it was fun to play with the leading lines of the surf.

Sunrise at Grand View Point in Canyonlands National Park.
Grand View Point in Canyonlands is one of the most incredible places I have ever visited. The landscape feels like it could be from another planet and offers endless opportunity for photographic composition.
This photograph is a view from the point looking east towards the La Sal mountains in the distance with White Rim, a sandstone bench 1,200 feet below, to the right.

This morning I went down to the marina to capture these flowers that I saw yesterday when Kristy and I had lunch at a local restaurant in Anacortes called Anthony's.
This weekend is the Arts and Crafts Festival so I managed to beat the rush of people and found some good lighting.

A bulge from the fisheye while heading up the Robarts Library escalators.
It seems the Flickr community is changing. Aside from all the contact fishers' I am glad to still see some familiar faces that have stuck around and continued interacting here.
I've started a ViewBug account to see how it is. It has a nice and clean layout but still doesn't feel the same as flickr. I feel slightly torn between the two. But I think I will continue with flickr for the social interaction. Sure, the photo contests and views are nice but it think it lacked the community feel' that flickr has. I will post on ViewBug as well if you guys happened to have opened an account there too. I'm using the same user name as flickr.

I took the day to travel across the state to visit Homosassa Springs State Park and boy was it WORTH the drive! Many beautiful birds and wildlife can be found there.
