This is one of the sessions we were preparing during our staying in Girona. The shoot was taken in Banyoles lake, in one of the most beautiful locations and more hidden (where you can see the a beautiful walkway that leads quite inside the lake). The sun was out, really harsh and I had to use an external flash SB-700 plus few high speed sync triggers. After few shots we got the illumination right and the face of the model was correctly lit up while the background was dimly lit.

This was during our night at Salvador & Amanda Restaurant in London. A lovely place were you can see live flamenco accompanied by guitar every Tuesday and Wednesday night. I managed to get this lovely picture when the singer looked at me.
Worth the visit.

I'm finding myself liking more and more portraits. I found them very compelling and actually quite difficult to get right. This is my brother in law and I couldn't resist taking his portrait after leaving his beard long enough to deserve a nice picture. I hope you like the editing which adds a bit of noise.
