For this week challenge we have to take a picture of a body part. In this case I chose the belly of my model and using the flash on the side to give a nice contrast using it from the right side.
I used a black backdrop, 2 high speed triggers and a single light.

A quick session we had few days ago while exploring some of the local villages next to my home town. Always loved the way those straw bales look and I couldn't resist the temptation for a session over there.

Entrance to Jain Temple, Ranakpur as devotees coming out of the main gate.
Ranakpur in Rajasthan, India has one of the biggest and most important Jain temple complexes of India, covering an area nearly 4500 square yards, and having 29 halls. Located about 200 km from Jodhpur, Ranakpur is one of the five most important pilgrimage sites of Jainism. Chaumukha temple is dedicated to Lord Adinath, the first Tirthankara.

My tribute picture to my racing hero Valentino Rossi. I took this picture last weekend during the MotoGP rage in Silverstone, UK. I took hundreds of pictures during the weekend and still haven't got round to editing all of them. Soon more to come.

Today was about learning a bit of Wine making and the fermentation process. We decided to spend the morning in one of the vineyards in l'Empordà called "la Vinyeta", a really young and innovative place where the different kind of wines are really nice and sweet. We did some tour over the vineyards and then a taste of the actual products. Overall a great experience. I managed to get one of the pictures that I always wanted with the barrels. These barrels are made of a special wood (oak) brought from other countries to leave the wine rest for a while.

Merry Christmas, everyone.
This is one of my older composites; background is Mt Baldy in LA County, shot it from the passenger seat window on the 10 while coming home from a weekend in Lake Arrowhead. Field is from here in Pennsylvania, so are the trees. Kids were photographed in our back yard when we still lived in Lancaster, CA and I made the stars in GIMP. Just goes to show you that you don't need to download other people's stock images for your composites once you have compiled enough of your own collection for yourself:)

Not the most ideal weather conditions for photographing this waterfall (on my first visit), but managed to make the best of it. One thing that struck me, was the size of the falls... from all the images I've seen, it looks smaller than it actually is!

This is a photo of the amazing city hall here in Vienna... I took this last night while I was scouting around for the photo walk - what a pretty city here!

In just a few weeks she was able to master the bike with confidence. we spent a month on the balance bike and then when switching into the pedal bike it literally took her 15min. very proud moment there.
