Session in Cambridge. It was a really nice day to be outdoors and practice some autumn portraiture. The day was mostly cloudy so brilliant for outdoor photography with natural light. We used one of the gardens in Cambridge next to Trinity College. The brown leaves were everywhere and we were just lying down and taking some snaps with the 85mm using a wide aperture f2.5 to get a really blurred background. The picture has been processed with LR5 and Photoshop CC to add some dreamy effect on it.

Sundown Wild Forest in the Town of Denning, NY.
Drive along Peekamoose Road in Denning, NY and you will come across many waterfalls and brooks that run into Kanape Brook, which transitions into Rondout Creek. It's a great place for a quick getaway from civilization.

Another of my levitation series. This one much more realistic. The scene is taken twice, one with the model and a chair and a second one without anything. Then mask the layer on top of this one and voila!, a levitation moment. It's quite fun and I highly recommend it.

While timelapsing for the project Greek Skies the passed summer, I got this lucky frame of a falling star. I remember talking with my friend Panos Photographia behind the camera as this flare was lightening the sky. Our eyes focused immediately on the sky...we were speechless for about 10 seconds. My camera was just shooting that frame and I was anxiously waiting for the preview to pop up! We got a big smile on our face when we noticed that the frame included the rising milky way and the falling star gracing the sky above the monasteries. Meteora's sky is pitch dark even with the light pollution from Kalampaka city. That gives you the opportunity to get a nice view of the night sky veil. Hope you like the shot and enjoy the video.

For this week challenge we have to take a picture of a body part. In this case I chose the belly of my model and using the flash on the side to give a nice contrast using it from the right side.
I used a black backdrop, 2 high speed triggers and a single light.
