One of those gems that you find when your wife leaves her watch #fossil in the hotel, placed under a nice light. It didn't take long to strike my eye and to rapidly grab my camera and take the shoot. It's always the small things that make you happy.

The May 4, 1949 there was the tragedy of Superga: the plane carrying the team of Grande Torino, in returning from Lisbon, crashed into the back of the complex, leaving no survivors, there is a memorial plaque on the site of the tragedy
Regent's Park is one of the Royal Parks of London. It’s the most wonderful time for capturing shot.

This is my brother's cat and it's a funny cat. quite friendly and crossed-eye (poor him). But a good model for posing.

Southern view on Mount Taurus in Cold Spring, NY during sunrise.
Composition, in my opinion, is one of the most important components in creating a successful photograph, and one that I'm always working to improve on. It's essentially organizing or arranging the elements of a scene to portray the feeling of the moment. In this case, it was about the rapidly moving clouds, continuously transforming the landscape with various shapes of light and shadow. My compositional approach, using the foreground rock to lead into the valley below, not only gave the image depth but reemphasized the feeling created by the cloud movement.

In light of the Gardiner East debate on the solution to the existing expressway :P The city council has voted for a hybrid plan which will leave most of the elevated Gardiner East in place instead of a full teardown and construct a boulevard in the Don Lands waterfront. The inner city wants the boulevard, the suburbs and commuters wanted the hybrid. It was a classic city vs the suburbs.
I framed this scene of Gardiner East as it was visually 'busy' here as well. The CN Tower is hardly visible. The Keaton Channel is cluttered with floating debris and garbage. There are some abandoned looking boats and ships. The skeleton of Gardiner East stands momentarily to the right (it had lost a few pounds due to the fall pieces of it over the years) :P
