I have long wanted to do a snow globe referencing the "Planet of the Apes". As is occasionally the case I started the piece and let the special twist/point come to me. After consideration I decided to have this one make comment on how public spaces (for example, Riis Beach) are being monetized and the consequences of creating/catering to such tourism endeavors:
