The Sutter Buttes, the remains of an ancient volcano, with the artificial Thermalito Afterbay lake, where they store excess water from Lake Oroville, in between.
Photographed on a wonderful, short hike on Whit Monday from Fellbach to Stuttgart-UntertĂĽrkheim over the Kappelberg.
Beautiful Wenberge and beautiful nature at the gates of Stuttgart. It was a nice trip.

This area saw the most intense fighting through the Somme offensive from 1 July 1916 to 18 November 1916 and there is much to see, we can do a driving tour for a general Somme offensive presentation over the 14 mile front or a walking tour from the property, or a combination of the two which is most popular.
