View from the top of the Eastgate Park & Ride. That's Seattle and the Olympic Mountains in the distance. I missed a connection so I had a half hour to kill here. There are no restrooms and it's half a mile from the nearest anything.
The Thousand Islands constitute an archipelago of 1,864 islands that straddles the Canada-U.S. border in the Saint Lawrence River as it emerges from the northeast corner of Lake Ontario. They stretch for about 50 miles (80 km) downstream from Kingston, Ontario. The Canadian islands are in the province of Ontario, the U.S. islands in the state of New York.
Each student gets a studio room in a student residence building. This type of housing is more common than dorm in France; students have to find their own apartment/residence. There are a lot of student residences in Lyon. This is one of them, Studea Berthelot Garibaldi. It is one minute walk from Tram Station where you can take a tram to Metro Station to get to the campus.
