The amazing view from the Skule Mountain, in the heart of what is known as the High Coast - designated a world cultural heritage site.
This view looking toward the Palos Verdes Peninsula and Catalina beyond shows the pinks and oranges reaching the edges of the ominous cloud bank which is massive casting shadows down the coast.
I was hoping all the bellies would have been ablaze with light.

It’s a beautiful September morning over the Puna Tsang Chu Valley in Wangduephodrang, Central Bhutan. The weather should be fine for the tshechu.
Tsechus (Dzongkha: ཚེས་བཅུ།, literally “day ten”) are annual religious festivals grounded in Tibetan Buddhism. Between three- and five-days long, the festivals comprise a program of Cham dances: costumed, masked dances that depict religious history and moral teachings. Accompanied by percussion instruments, the rhythmic dances are considered a form of meditation and an offering to the gods; they bring merit to participants and audience alike.

I made this little one to fill a silly need for a Wanda Wonderfrog.
Since I do not own one (I would love to) I worked off pictures.
I used the pattern for Beth's Teacup Spirit doll www.flickr.com/photos/29184580@N04/sets/72157627077018028/ as a base and tweaked it a lot.
I love how she turned out.
Now I need to figure out how I did it, so I can make more:)

taken from the beach at Mama's Fish House - a GREAT restaurant near the airport on Maui. Great food, great staff, wonderful flower arrangements, great view of the beach.

Here is a picture of a nice view as the sun was low upon the horizon. Not quite sunset but quickly getting there.
The view from my hotel room at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, MA. I was stunned when I arrived and realized I had a view across the Charles River of Boston - after I stared out the window for awhile, I grabbed the camera.
It was just beautiful...
