Hoy es un día especial en nuestra vida. Se pone a la venta mi nuevo libro.
En esta ocasión me acerco al mundo de la composición en fotografía. Es un tema que siempre levanta encendidos debates.
He intentado apartarme de otros libros sobre el tema y abordarlo desde el punto de vista de la percepción humana. Explico la forma en que nuestro cerebro ve la realidad y trato de explicar las diferentes opciones que tenemos para que nuestro mensaje se vea reforzado, que nuestras imágenes transmitan las sensaciones y sentimientos que pretendemos imprimirles.
Hemos hecho todo lo posible para que el precio sea asequible, 26,90€ (220 páginas), impreso con la mejor calidad disponible en nuestro país en papel de baja ganancia de punto con imágenes barnizadas.
Está profusamente ilustrado (más de 250 imágenes y 100 esquemas). He procurado poner fotografías muy diferentes, alejándome de mis temas habituales, para ofrecer ejemplos de formas muy distintas de componer, algo también poco frecuente en otras obras sobre el tema. He tratado de mantenerme en el delicado equilibrio entre la parte teórica que fundamente las decisiones creativas que tomamos y la parte práctica que todos buscamos.
También he incluido una sección que explica de forma muy visual como va variando una imagen con los cambios explicados en el libro.
Para complementarlo he creado una serie de videotutoriales, más de 90 minutos de contenidos inéditos en los que he volcado todo lo aprendido sobre este interesante tema.

I wanted to have some fun with my newest toy today. So, I set up the D7100 as I made breakfast.
One of the reasons for the video is to play with selective focus and moving the focus. Shot at 24 fps. The shutter speed was set to 1/50 sec. The 16-85mm was shot wide open all morning. The ISO was used to adjust exposure. Depending on the scene, it was between 250 and 400 ISO.
I edited in FCPX and created the music in Garage Band. It was a pretty quick shoot/edit. Next, I guess I will have to make a still picture with the new camera.

Shot this near my cabin last summer. I've been putting off finishing the panorama for a while, as one of the source images was out of focus and another suffered from other exposure issues. Not exactly great material when stiching a panorama.
Sheep outnumber people up here by a factor of at least 1000, amazingly there's not a single one in this photo :b
