DJ ETC Dollinger has a wide variety of music in his catalogue of spins. When I first met him, he was spinning electro at many clubs on the grid.
Tonight, ETC is spinning at Valhalla Bar at the Wellfleet Heights Community. Rock and roll is the genre tonight as Nickelback and other popular rock bands were featured in his set. Woot!
Hadrian's Union play The Old Fire Station, Carlisle, Cumbria
Hadrian’s Union are a five piece Contemporary Folk Rock band from the debatable lands of England and Scotland. The name originates from the locality and mindset of the band, Hadrian's Union (or HU for short) as seperate members are based along various points of Hadrian's Wall, they all come from various music genres (Folk, Punk, Rock, Blues,Celtic, Ska etc) which reflects in the music they create together.
The music is varied and ultimately for the listener all of HU's shows and recordings are an exciting experience. Waltzes, Ballads, Music Hall and drinking songs and so much that you will find in the Union. HU will not be pigeon holed into one category but can often be found at Folk festivals in the loosely termed Folk Rock section, they are at home as much at a rock show as they are in a folk club, and to boot they love a bit of Steampunk too.
Hadrian's Union have recently finished recording there most adventureous album to date, 'Aural Borderalis', which will be released in Summer 2017. The album is produced by Saul Rose (Faustus,Eliza Carthy & The Wayward Band) and is an ecclectic mix of music inspired by the various influences brought to the Union by the members of the band.

The Old Fire Station is a versatile venue offering a platform for everything and anything creative. From concerts, comedy & cinema to exhibitions, workshops, theater and inspirational speakers.
The newly transformed Fire Station opened to the public in May 2015. The main building provides four main spaces including: a ground floor foyer with box office; cafe-bar, plus a main auditorium for live music, comedy, theater and exhibitions accommodating around 250 seated or 350 standing.
There is also a first floor studio space for workshops and conferences, plus a first floor studio. The remaining space includes smaller rooms which are used for offices, rehearsal, changing rooms and studios for rent.
McGrew's Bistro is based within the venue and is open seven days a week, between 10:00 and 17:00. The bar will also be open during evening events.
Burnham Thorpe, All Saints Church, Norfolk.
The church retains many reminders of its early origins, including: its mainly Decorated chancel, its early 15th century tower & a 13th century four bay arcade. The church’s 19th century refurbishments include the replacement of the south aisle.
Nelson was born in the rectory (his father was the rector here) and following his death the Admiralty gave the church its lectern which is made out of timbers from HMS Victory. The church also contains a large and impressive brass dated 1420 in the floor of the chancel commemorating Sir William Calthorpe.
The church contains only one stained glass window which was made by S C Yarrington.

All Saints' church is situated across the green from the village's pub (the first one to be called the Lord Nelson). The original building dates back to the 13th century. It was renovated in the l840s and was completely restored in time for the centenary of Trafalgar (1905).
The interior was lime washed in the late 1990s and is light, bright and airy. Most of the seating is on individual chairs. This lends itself to versatile usage. The capacity is approximately two hundred, plus seating in the choir stalls.
The acoustics and lay out make an excellent venue for concerts and visiting choirs, which in recent years have included the Norwich Cathedral Choir, the European Youth Chamber Orchestra, the Hatcham Orchestra and a performance of Haydn’s Nelson Mass.
Versatile musician ('about ten instruments') and poet - Pat Bailey, Villierstown, County Waterford, who obliged here for a photograph,some tunes, and snippets of local history at a former 'weaver's house' on the village green. Many of the picturesque village's stone buildings date from the 1700s, when they were built to service the linen industry. The Villiers-Stuart family were the important local landlords.

In early 2013, 410 Silva Cell frames and 210 Silva Cell decks were installed outside of the Versatile Building on 3rd Street and Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver, British Columbia to support 10 new trees. The Silva Cell system also allows the trees and soil to manage stormwater on-site.
