It took longer than expected to remove the vent. There were indications it had been "repaired" by the previous owner at some point.

I uploaded this for some reason, maybe someone will find it compelling and make it their life long goal to document the world's vents.

This is a venting machine that is a part of the sculpture studio at the University of Colorado at Denver. The rusty thing in front is used for melting iron for use in creating all sorts of sculpture.
Geysers are hot springs that episodically erupt columns of water. They occur in few places on Earth. The highest concentration of geysers anywhere is at the Yellowstone Hotspot Volcano (northwestern Wyoming, USA).
Tilt’s Baby Geyser consists of a pair of small, elongated vents located about 8 to 9 meters south of Crested Pool’s southern border in the Castle Group of Yellowstone’s Upper Geyser Basin. Before 2016, the geyser was located immediately adjacent to the tourist boardwalk and could be easily viewed from above. In 2016, the boardwalk was moved away from the feature. Tilt's Baby used to erupt every ~3.5 to ~6.5 hours, but intervals have been decreasing in recent years. In 2021, intervals were about 1.5 hours and in 2022-2024, intervals have been between a half-hour and an hour. Before an eruption, the water-filled and overflowing basin engages in occasional, very slight pulsing. As an eruption nears, heavier and more frequent pulsing occurs. Eruptions start with very heavy pulsing and energetic roiling, with bursting splashes from both vents starting up soon afterward. Eruptions last for about 3 to 6 minutes (sometimes a much shorter eruption occurs that's about 1 minute in duration). The northwestern vent is the more energetic of the two. After an eruption, the basin is empty of water. When Tilt's Baby had longer intervals, the basin slowly filled with water about 1.5 hours after an eruption, and eventually started overflowing. Empty-pool starts also occur.
