View from an air vent inside of the Hoover Dam. Ventilation shaft was about 5.5' in diameter (I had to duck to get to the vent).
I had moved the washer and dryer away from the walls so I could prime and paint - the dryer vent no longer reached. I happened to have an extension piece, and it fit perfect.

Another one! This one, looking like a half-demolished lamp post, gives away its origins with a characteristic flared base.
Here's a vent for the kitchen. It's a nice way to let every bug in the city inside... so I tend to keep the kitchen door closed and this light off. By the way, most of the lights in Paraguay are halogen... so they flicker and take forever to turn on. It's irksome.
