well, we're back from our trip to Iceland - and it was wonderful.
my computer is warning me that I'm running low on hard-drive space on an almost hourly basis, so I have not yet had the chance to see any of the pictures I took other than on the small screen on the back of the camera. but as soon as the new disk arrives there will be more shots of lava, icebergs and bubbling mud. and more lava.

The guys are shlurping around up to their ankles in wet cement.

The old flap has been removed where the rubber had broken, which just left the metal strip to be removed. The metal strip is held in place by a row of small nuts. I used a 5.5mm nut spinner to remove all the nuts.
