"There is no mountain too high"
The red-vented bulbul (Pycnonotus cafer) is a member of the bulbul family of passerines. It is resident breeder across the Indian subcontinent, including Sri Lanka extending east to Burma and parts of Tibet. It has been introduced in many other parts of the world and has established itself in the wild on several Pacific islands including Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and Hawaii. It has also established itself in parts of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, the United States and Argentina.
Some vent caps removed & dragged off the roof by salvagers & thrown through the skylight above. They were already taken to the scrap yard when I returned a few days later, a shopping cart in their place. Seen in the abandoned Washington Packing Corp., SF, CA.

Vixen Geyser is a small geyser in the Back Basin in the Norris Geyser Basin. It is right along the trail and you may walk past it with little interest as it is typically just a small vent. But it sporadically erupts with the time of eruption anywhere from a few minutes to as much as 15 minutes. We were fortunate enough to walk past this geyser when it was erupting and was an amazing experience to see it erupt and then turn the valve off and see it suck back into the earth and turn into a vent.
The little ball valve fuel tank vent installed on the rear off side strut using 10mm braided hose from the tank, a 10mm to 6mm adapter, 6mm hose stretched over the 7mm connection on the valve and then out through a grommet.
It would have been a lot easier if the valve used a standard size connector.
This rear quarter will be panelled in once IVA is out of the way so all the pipework will be hidden

Safari in Minneriya National Park
I don't recommend, way too crowded.
At some point it looked like heavy traffic in a very busy city.
Minneriya National Park (Sinhala: මින්නේරිය ජාතික වනෝද්යානය, romanized: Minnēriya Jātika Vanōdyānaya; Tamil: மின்னேரியா தேசிய வனம், romanized: Miṉṉēriyā Tēciya Vaṉam) is a national park in North Central Province of Sri Lanka. The area was designated as a national park on 12 August 1997, having been originally declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1938.
The reason for declaring the area as protected is to protect the catchment of Minneriya tank and the wildlife of the surrounding area. The tank is of historical importance, having been built by King Mahasen in third century AD. The park is a dry season feeding ground for the elephant population dwelling in forests of Matale, Polonnaruwa, and Trincomalee districts. The park earned revenue of Rs. 10.7 million in the six months ending in August 2009. Along with Kaudulla and Girithale, Minneriya forms one of the 70 Important Bird Areas (IBAs) of Sri Lanka. The park is situated 182 kilometres (113 mi) from Colombo.

The red-vented bulbul is easily identified by its short crest giving the head a squarish appearance. The body is dark brown with a scaly pattern while the head is darker or black. The rump is white while the vent is red. The black tail is tipped in white.
