The AO is still a mess, though.
Stuart had another bumpy day yesterday and his doctors decided he needed to go back onto the ventilator. They think he may be fighting off another infection so they've started him on another course of antibiotics, and the ventilator will help him save his energy while his body's fighting off those germs.
Of course we would love to see him off the ventilator for good, but from the very beginning we were told that it's not at all uncommon for babies to come off and go back on repeatedly as thier little lungs build up strength. And looking at the bigger picture he had nine solid days off the ventilator this last time, so a little plateau is totally understandable.
Knowing all that doesn't really make it much easier, though. On the brighter side being off the CPAP means we can see his face better.

Elizabeth Cleveger Venters Henson my great-great-grandmother, d/o of Elizabeth Childers & Alexander Clevenger. She was b 11 Nov 1827 in Pike Co KY, d 29 April 1905 in Oak Hill, Jackson Co OH, married first to John Venters 4 Jan 1844 in Pikeville, Pike Co KY and John was killed in 1863. Elizabeth then married Larkin Henson 26 Jan 1868 so he could help raise her 10 children and they had two more. She is buried in Clay Cemetery, Madison Twp, Jackson Co OH. Photo by Johnny Ray Venters.
Quando qua d'estate non si può parlare manco scherzando. Diluvia e tira vento. Benvenuta nell'Irish summer, qualcuno ha detto. E io che anelo ciliegie e cocomeri enormi da mettere sotto l'acqua fredda o in frigorifero, quando invece qua il frigorifero con 3 pomodori,due yogurt e due litri di latte è già sazio. Anelo anche un lavoro, giusto per pagare quelle quattro bollette e l'affitto.
Quanto meno ho scoperto persone accanto a me più care di quanto ritenessi, che aiutano in una maniera o in un'altra .
E neanche poco.
