Another experiment from the rocto lab.

I am loving the 1950's style at the moment.

A nice cheery one this time :D

I was watching this documentary on elephants (surprisingly!!)

and there was this moment when one of the herd died.

I was really moved by the way elephants mourn, not only from the herd but other herds too.

So I just drew this tribute to us all eventually shuffling off this mortal coil.

The hearse is based on an austin fx3!

This cute pitbull was illustrated by me using Illustrator. I plan on doing some more doggie portraits soon.

una mas para mi colección del día de muertos, espero les guste!

Digital art. Minimal shadow, no gradient.

My Adobe Illustrator take on the popular WPA style posters that are enjoying a renaissance thanks to outstanding artists like Tyler Nordgren and his amazing work here: www.tylernordgren.com/milky-way-posters

I couldn't resist doing my own version of the classic "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster.

This is my "Keep Calm and Fake a British Accent" version. Who doesn't wish they had a British accent sometimes? It's so posh and proper.

Quick design. Flat color with a few of the dreaded cast shadows.

I am revisiting some old photos and putting them to another use. I am thinking whether to make an acrylic painting or just print this vector graphic but probably both.

Features the Audrey Hepburn quote:

"I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles."

Fuchsia and dark raspberry on white. Audrey's name in light gray. Limited edition.

See art prints with it at the link in my bio or here: rdbl.co/2h9f8M8

Messy, messy, messy close-ups.

Stopped short with a minimum of shadow and no gradients.

Oh, so half-assed. Oh, so very very out of practice... Oh... well?

A design gone the wrong direction with a few nice individual elements.

I'll be out for a while, vacationing in the bundocks. See you next year...

Hasta la vista...

Take care people.

I have been working on and finished a painting commission as of late. Having no desire to paint or draw the paint and canvas and pens have been tucked away. These are a selection of digital files I'm now working on.
