With the connotation of Patriarchal values, family/ tribal customs and religious fundamentalism, Gender based violence in Pakistan is one of the potential threats that not only creates gender based imparities, but also had hinder the women progression towards the socio-economic attainment. Fighting against such discrimination and outdated norms, Peoples Common Struggle Center (PCSC) project ‘Pollinating the Power Against Gender Based Violence (GBV)’ is a step towards building women rights movement through the sensitization of young high school and college girls students, who would play their active role in amplifying their voices against gender based discrimination through SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN called (Personal is Political). During this project, young girls students of 4-5 high schools and colleges would be trained to actively engage for hands on SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN (Personal is Political) against gender based violence and connect other disconnected victimized voices to be heard at local and regional level.
I found this project to be a great challenge for students to practice their drawing skills and knowledge of value. Students are given a selection of celebrity photos (I chose audrey because I love her but I gave them celebrities they actually knew), they are to choose one photo, cut it in half, glue down one side of the photo, and then attempt their best at drawing the other half.
I've noticed this quite a bit lately, if one gas station lowers the price of gas 1 penny huge lines form out side the pump. If the line is 3 cars long and the avg wait time is about 3 minutes, is it worth waiting for 10 minutes to save 25 cents (assuming your tank is 25 gallons)? Well, if it was, that would mean you value your time at $1.50/hour. This is a fraction of minumum wage but yet so many people do it. What I'm saying is that it's cheaper if you goto the pump down the road that costs 1 penny more and there's no wait ;)

The space is divided into three distinct sections. The first section being the dark and imposing area of the tower. The second being the bright white space that is the sky. And the final space being the middle ground between the two, a grey gridded texture that creates a buffer between the two dominant values.
