Well, that's a wrap! It's been 2 fun weeks, but after all that work I figure I deserve a vacation... And there's no place I'd rather go than Cloud City!

CC posts this: "During my winter vacation a stranger stopped and told me I was a tropical beauty! This shot is from my camera but I let him take one on his own! Imagine!"
I'm sure he's enjoying his shot of you as well. Congratulations.
"Vacation starts now except we have to clean up, pack, go to the bank, go to the store for snacks, eat, nap, shower, workout....vacation sure is tiring. OK, vacation begins tomorrow when we are in the car and on our way. Let's begin our pre-vacation day with a nap!"

Planning a Disney World Vacation is always fun and exciting, but the reality of the trip doesn't really kick in until the Magicbands arrive. Once those show up you can say "I'm Going To Disney World"

High on my "bucket list" is a vacation in the Scandinavian countries. For now, my wife and I were happy to spend our 46th Anniversary at "Nestledown", a Scandinavian-themed bed-and-breakfast in Marquette, Michigan
Our genial Finnish and Norwegian hosts built this unique inn themselves, from the bottom up, using traditional materials. Ken mixed his own "red paint", using linseed oil, water, flour, and iron oxide, matching a "Falun Red" that might be found in Sweden. Rough-sawn cedar painted red, and white trim on the exterior; linseed oil-waxed hardwood floors and sauna on the interior; and simple breakfasts from Finnish and Norwegian recipes complemented the Scandinavian "vacation" theme.
Note: There are many people in Michigan's Upper Peninsula with Scandinavian ethnic roots among others, descendants of immigrants attracted by the need for copper and iron miners in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
