McCormick Observatory on the UVa hill in Charlottesville, VA. It was a chilly day, but beautiful for being out at such a great location. The fantastic building sits on the very top of the hill surrounded by the budding trees of spring. Easily accessible by road and yet there was barely anyone there. Just a few dog walkers.

Le sue lacrime, belle come perle, si trasformarono a poco a poco in piccoli frutti…Al sorgere del sole, dai rami pendevano i primi grappoli d’uva. La vite era diventata così una pianta fruttifera. I suoi frutti avevano l’energia delle stelle, la dolcezza del canto dell’usignolo e il colore del cielo all’aurora.
Another shot of Uvas Canyon County Park. This little park is a great dog friendly park in Santa Clara County. It is currently closed because of the fires last year, but should reopen later this year.
I came here a little over a year ago and the falls were barely a trickle. They are still a bit skimpy much better this time around.
