This shot was taken a month ago. I knew that there was going to be some nice clouds, so I headed over to Santa Cruz. Unfortunately the fog had already arrived by the time I got there. I then headed south towards Watsonville because it looked fog free. The fog followed me there too, so I headed up to Hecker Pass in the hopes of getting above the fog, but the fog filled in the tops of the Santa Cruz mountains. In a last ditch effort I raced down towards Gilroy in the hopes of catching some good light. I was lucky enough to see a sign with an arrow pointing towards Uvas Reservoir. I had never been there, but I thought maybe there will be something to shoot. I got there just in time to capture this shot. I really wish I had arrived 20 minutes prior because there were some amazing sun rays beaming through the clouds.
Thanks for looking!

This small fall is in Uvas Canyon County Park. Luckily this is a spring fed stream so there was some water still flowing in it.
chicchi d'uva
tondi,sodi ,succosi
addento vorace
mi inebrio con il nettare dolce
al vostro banchetto...
mi sazio di cibo
sottratto agli dei da mitici eroi
Ritrovo il sapore dei vecchi ricordi
serbati insieme all'autunno
