We saw this previously humble little utility box on our block, happily redecorated by some anonymous local artist. We can't help smiling every time that we see it because... *it's so cute!*

Around 11:00pm on a hot September evening San Jose Fire Department responded to reports of a fire at a warehouse on N King Rd. Arriving units reported a well involved industrial building and struck a second alarm.
A large pile of pallets stored between two large warehouses also ignited, making the task even more complex, and causing the blaze to spread to a second large warehouse building.
Eventually San Jose responded 4 alarms to the incident. The pile of pallets caused problems until it could be fully pulled apart and extinguished, an operation that continued for around 5 hours.

The Opel Corsa is a supermini car engineered and produced by the German manufacturer Opel since 1982. It has also been sold under a variety of other brands (most notably Vauxhall, Chevrolet, and Holden) and also spawned various derivatives in different markets. Its current fifth generation is built in Spain and in Germany. However, despite its global presence, it has never been sold in the United States or Canada.
GM South Africa markets the hatchback simply as The New Corsa, and the pickup version as the Corsa Utility. Since 2007, the Corsa C saloon has been discontinued in South Africa.

Case F recolour of the Matchbox 2016 Ford Interceptor Utility. Plenty to be found at Tesco after SEVERAL months of no new assortments. An attractive licensed livery of El Segundo which I believe is where the Mattel Head Office is located. Mint and boxed.
2022 Case E recolour of the Matchbox 2016 Ford Interceptor Utility complete with real life Monroeville Police livery for that extra bit of authenticity.
Mint and boxed.
With a flurry of new Matchbox five vehicle sets now turning up at Tesco, and indeed Morrisons, I got a bit carried away and grabbed another of last years MBX Service assortment. Five licensed castings all wearing El Segundo themed liveries such as this 2016 Ford Interceptor Utility.
Mint and boxed.

This is Maserati's first SUV - has anybody waited for a car like this from a manufacturer like Maserati? I did not... The Levante is powered by a V6 petrol bi-turbo with 350hp (Italy) or 430hp (rest of the World) or a turbo-diesel V6 with 275hp.
This is the end of Maserati brand we know (and like)...

Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department Ford Police Interceptor Utility northbound on I-295. Cropped. [α900-09347]
On the reverse side of this advertising postcard Holden referred to this all-new model as "Australia's Own Utility". They further explained that, although it "looks new" and "feels new", everything is "tried and proved!".
What a huge difference the right kind of livery can make to a model judging by the latest Case D/V recolour of the Matchbox 2016 Ford Interceptor Utility. There wasn't too much wrong with its previous debut edition but this black and white Highway Patrol release takes things to a different level. It somehow looks more of a complete piece here, probably helped by the fact its wraparound lights have had a date with the tampo machine. Definitely its best recolour yet. Mint and boxed.
upon request, thank you, I tightened up the crop on UP4075 at the crossing in downtown Dundas, Minnesota. Nice eye gentlemen.

Dacia launched the 1300 model in 1969. The 1300 was a licenced version of the Renault 12, and was virtually indistinguishable from the donor car.
Dacia, based in Romania, was the State automotive company, and so, as well as having a dominant market position, it was also expected to provide a wider range of vehicle types to local consumers than was provided by Renault with the 12. This was achieved by the 1302, a two-door pickup (utility) version of the Saloon 1300.
The initial product run for the 1302 was 1975 to 1982. This shared the Dacia 1300 wheelbase of 2,441 mm. The 1302 model was replaced by an updated 1304 model. The 1304 received numerous cosmetic changes (inline with the Dacia Saloon), but also an increase in wheelbase to 2,675 mm, along with a more integrated tub design. The 1302 tub had appeared with corrugated sides and did not blend well the front bodywork.
Dropside 1304 models were made available in 1983, and a 1307 model, from 1992, riding on an even longer 2,795 mm wheelbase.
Other derivatives and combinations were also made available, until 2006. The model was replaced by the much more modern Dacia Logan pickup, based on the Renault Clio II, which launched in 2004.
My very first Swiss Army Knife, I purchased her when I was in Jakarta in 2008 as they were cheaper to buy there compared to back home, its an awesome little knife which I have used for a variety of purposes. The pliers have been great for field surgery when I have had the occasional ingrown toenail, I use them to pull bits of the nail that tweezers cant pull. The reamer is probably my favourite tool as I have used it when making pantographs for my trains. It's saved me from getting sore fingers many a time from trying to force minifig hands into the hole of 3mm rigid hose that's been soaked in boiling water. Just a couple of twist of the reamer are all that it takes to expand the hole in the 3mm rigid and push the parts in with a bit of force, it's a lot more quicker and doesn't give me 1st degree burns in the process.
Photo taken to advise UU of sewage problems in March 2019. Nothing happened. (Problem is stuck diverter in road at top of photo identified in June 2017).
See previous photo in photostream for result 4 months later.
Added: August 10th 2019: The UU staff were most helpful over the past few days, and have identified that the downstream sewer was (partially) blocked and seem to have taken action to clear it. They are also reinvestigating the 'stuck diverter' I referred to above.
