Finally getting around to working on the utility tunnels. This area has constantly kicked my ass creatively and ever since my first rendition back in 2011, its been my least favorite area to work in, but not anymore!
Thanks to a little creative ingenuity and some help from Apple Fall's Costal Pier Kit, I've managed to make an area that looks cool and leaves lots of room making the tunnels into a great addition to the sim.
Official narrative: The Utility Tunnels run underneath the Hive itself, supplying the massive facility's water, gas and electrical needs through a network of tunnels, passages and service areas...its like a maze down there.
**Update July 14, 2018: While the sim is now closed please feel free to still join the group: world.secondlife.com/group/ee72cab4-18dc-a00c-05ff-79d1c4...

Probably one of its best and certainly most authentic recolours yet of the Matchbox 2016 Ford Interceptor Utility, its licensed NYPD livery being its main attraction. First seen as a single and now included in a recent nine vehicle set. Found recently at Tesco. Mint and boxed.

Pre-dating the civilian Hummer, the original Humvees were designed by A M General Corporation, a subsiduary of AMC and were built in Mishawaka, Indiana, in respone to a request from the US Army for a High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle, there were four competing bids and A M Generals response was to an all new vehicle which was delivered as a prototype in less than one year. With the required number of prototypes delivered to the Army proving grounds in April 1982.
After testing A M General were awarded the first contract for $1.2 billion dollars to supply 55,000 Humvees by 1985, the first vehicle was delivered 2nd January 1985 with the others following and the contract was extended for a further 15,000 units.
HMMWVs first saw combat in Operation Just Cause, the U.S. invasion of Panama in 1989. The HMMWV was designed primarily for personnel and light cargo transport behind front lines, not as a front line fighting vehicle.
The military Humvee went on to earn its spurs during the first Gulf War and has proved effective ever since. Humvees were also sent into Afghanistan following the September 11 attacks, and have gone on to form the vehiculer backbone of US forces around the world, with over 10,000 being employed by coalition forces during the Iraq war.
A M General had always planned to build a civilian version and in 1992 the first civilian Hummer went on sale.
In December 1999 A M General sold the brand name to GM but continued to build the vehicles, with GM becoming responsible for the distribuition and marketing
