A little change of pace from my own artwork...I just couldn't resist scanning this sheet before starting to use the stamps. I love the gradations of the background colors in bands, and the way it all works together as a sheet.

A couple of weeks ago I was looking to order stamps online from the USPS. They always have more than stamps available to order and it turns out that this item was one of them! A costume for your dog to make him/her look like a postal delivery person! It had me figuratively rolling on the floor!
Brand new in 1990, this Express Mail mailbox was either re-painted into the classic scheme with old USPS logos, or possibly transplanted in original scheme. Prior to 2014 there was a mailbox in this location in a newer Express Mail scheme. Seen alongside a Relay Mail cabinet in downtown Philadelphia on 4th Street at Ludlow.

Seen in the Kirby Student Center. This is not an official USPS mailbox but rather an agent one serviced by the UMD mail dept. Telltale signs are the padlock on it vs. a standard postal lock, and no service schedule. I like how they've got the old US Mail logo on the side, and instructions on how to address and stamp a letter on top. (Do they not teach that in elementary school anymore?)
