With dozens of railfans waiting for the CP 150 train to enter the Port of Montreal, a drone user launched his drone nearly at track level (seen just to the left of the lead unit), which seemed dangerously low and was certainly very inconsiderate to the many railfans waiting to shoot this historic train in an unexpected location (the CN Wharf Spur).

After a long week, do you want to take a rest and sit on the bench? To enjoy this moment before it is gone.

Thanks for your comments and faves.

The pine warbler (Setophaga pinus) 松鶯 is a small songbird of the New World warbler family.

These birds have white bellies, two white wing bars, dark legs and thin, relatively long pointed bills; they have yellowish lines over their eyes. Adult males have olive upperparts and bright yellow throats and breasts; females and immatures display upperparts which are olive-brown. Their throats and breasts are paler.

It has been an excellent start to the 2016 chase Season. Bonus was, that I had the day off and no commitments except for storm chasing. I was set for an Epic Day!

I ended up with well over 700 pic from this storm chasing event, but I've skimmed it down to about 100+. Truly this will become some of my best severe weather photography to date...

I was seriously late the game on this storm. But I was never out of the game. I had now positioned myself just to the North of Wray Colorado.

Strategically, you want to be to the south east, southwest for the best light... It's all about timing, and I thought it wouldn't produce till it was well west of my location. Giving me that perfect view of the backside rotation of the storm.

In my opinion, I found a perfect view, looking due south southeast. I ended up on the northwest side of the rotation. Dangerous yes...but this will eventually give me one excellent view of this tornado and all her glory.

A wicked bad day of severe weather in South Central Nebraska. For more information on that day... NWS Official Report.

A tornadic supercell with an Ef1 or Ef2 tornado struck the city of Kearney late afternoon. The aftermath wasn't pretty. I sure wanted to be out chasing but I was scheduled for work, and missed the entire historic event.

Power was out, but I did have the camera batteries charged. Geared up, with camera in hand after I got home from work. I took a few minutes during clean up that night to capture these incredible cloudscapes that were on the back side of the storms.

These were the final rays, the last light of the day. These clouds were truly some spectacular stormscape captures to end that day of severe weather!

The Tokyo subway, with its 8.7m daily users is a sight to behold and from what I experienced, the system works brilliantly. With that many people around you don't often see a single commuter on the other side of the escalator, hence this quick snapshot.

When I first started using this camera I had a lot of trouble getting the hang on the winding on mechanism. This is a weird cross over triptych that I ended up with. Thankfully all three shots were taken at the same location so they all go together.
