If in the urinary tract there is any formation of any kind of solid material, the disease is known as urolithiasis or renal calculi. The solid materials are termed as kidney stones because their area of origin is the kidney and if fortunately, they are small enough, they will pass through one's urine without causing any trouble or symptoms. However, if the kidney stones are too big in size, they might get trapped in the urinary tract causing the blockage in the passing of urine regularly.

Fiuggi water is a natural, oligomineral water. Its composition comes from the tufaceous ground of the hollows occupied by the Spas. It is subjected to a filtering action which purifies and reduces its mineralisation becoming an oligomineral water of a very strong diuretic effect. It provokes the expulsion of kidney stones and prevents their formation, it is also particularly indicated during preparation of operations for urinary calculosis and post-operative treatment. It is an excellent remedy for infections of the urinary tract and, thanks to its action on the metabolism of uric acid, favours the cure of gout and uratic arthropathies.

So sorry we missed last week. Splash has a bladder infection. For months we have been fighting bladder / urinary problems, and now she is on a prescription diet food. She is only 4 1/2 years old but I think her previous owners had her spayed very young and they didn't do a very good job. Ringo is still in "physical therapy" for his torn CCL so I am doing his "therapy" twice a day which totals about 3 hours a day. Needless to say I'm stretched a little thin =)
I also got really behind on commenting...sorry again...but I think I'm pretty much caught up except for this weeks posts. I looked through all the wonderful photos, but only commented on a few even though I love them all! So if I haven't commented on yours know that I did look and smile!! You all seem to be having such wonderful summer adventures...hope we get to join in the fun soon. Have a wonderful week all!
