Another commissioned model: a darth vader minifigure (sw020 to be precise) in 11:1 scale.
Around 3500 parts used.
Measures approx. 50 cm high (without the saber).
2 custom parts: the cape and a metal technic axle in the hand to hold the up the heavy lightsaber.
The right arm + hand had to be fixed due to the weight of the lightsaber.
The left arm + hand can move freely thanks to ball joints.
Legs are also fixed as per request of the customer.
The customer wants to keep it exclusive so I will not provide instructions/copies.

Leleh Zar Street (خیابان لاله زار) was considered Tehran's most luxurious street in the years leading to the World War II with so many upscale restaurants, bars, cinemas and businesses but as the uptown in Tehran moved northbound, it fell into the Grand Bazaar's sphere of influence and lost it's status as upscale neighborhoods. Laleh Zar street was mostly colonized by lighting fixture wholesalers
Iranian cities used to be centered around Grand Bazaars. Grand Bazzar is essentially a neighborhood in the city with maze of alleys full of shops. The alleys in Grand Bazaars are often covered with some sort of roofing to protect the merchandise parked on the alley and also to ease up life for merchants and shoppers by regulating the temperature, reduce heat in summers and prevent extreme cold in winters. After the World War II, Tehran's Grand Bazaar metastasized to other neighborhoods, Once high end neighborhoods in the sphere of influence of Grand Bazaar were flooded with new Bazaar Style shops which swiftly robbed them off their status. As such neighborhoods became the extension of Grand Bazzar, merchants wished to give their new territory a more Bazzarish feel and also protect their parked merchandise and as a result, little alleys like the one in photo were covered with some sort of roofing. Some with traditional brick arches and some with more modern styles like the one in photo. A dead end covered alley in Persian is called "Bazaar-Che" which translates to English as "Little Bazzar". "Bazaar-Che" was the word proposed by the "Persian Academy of Literature" which is in charge of finding or creating Persian name for new things. "Bazaar-Che" word was officially adopted to call such alleys however the commoners prefer the English word "Passage" which they pronounce it in French accent.

Peppercorn Duck Club, The SKIES, and Benton's will close and reopen under different formats.
When this wide-eyed college freshman arrived in town in August 1981, the Hyatt may have not even yet re-opened, after the tragic collapse of the skywalks, over its main lobby in July 1981, just 54 weeks into the hotel's young life. But one of the first upscale places I heard of was Peppercorn Duck Club, on the main floor of the Hyatt, just off the lobby, where sadly, I've never yet eaten. In the later 80's, during the Gulf War, the featured entertainer at the Peppercorn was Oleta Adams, whose name had caught my eye on a billboard, due to its similarity to Olathe, the suburb in which I lived. Onsite, at the restaurant, her promotional poster in the window showed a stunning lady at a stunning white grand piano.
It was at the Hyatt that Oleta was first heard by the two creators of "Tears for Fears," when they were on tour, and presumably either staying at the hotel, or hitting the night spots. This connection launched Oleta to the next level, as she joined Tears for Fears on tour, as both opening act, and remaining on stage to do vocals with the band, as well.

The American Restaurant, atop what was Hall's department store, will remain. The former Hall's space is being converted to a kids' scientific aquarium of some kind.
