Harrods is an upscale department store located in the Knightsbridge area of London, England, UK. The current building was opened in 1905. The store, which is the largest department store in Europe and one of the largest in the entire world contains 100,000 square metres (1,100,000 square feet) of selling space and sits on 5 acres. Harrods was originally opened by retailer Charles Henry Harrod. When a previous building on the site burned down in December 1883, Harrod was able to fill all his customers Christmas orders in spite of the fire. He was also the first to extend credit to his most affluent customers, including members of the royal family. In recent years the store was owned by the Fayed brothers and the son of Mohammed Al-Fayed was killed in Paris in an automobile crash that took the life of Princess Diana. The current owners of the store is the State of Qatar.
I have upscaled the Red Fox by x2 in each dimension. Essentially follow building directions for the 1x scale and built it twice as big. As a result it is 8x more brick demanding.
I would have photographed along with the 1x scale Fox, but it's currently on display at The LEGO House.
Countless piano models in a wide variety of shapes and sizes have already been built with LEGO bricks. Anyway, I expand this huge range with my execution.
What kind of music would suit this instrument better than a classic ragtime? So she plays the title Original Rags by Scott Joplin and gives the goldfish good vibrations! ;-)

This home was an upscale home back in the 1800's old west in Bodie, California. It's a bit creaky today, but looks pretty good considering all it's been through.
Bodie was quite the mining town at one time.... and they say that life wasn't worth a penny. Gun fights, murders and etc took place everyday....... I think they figured a stranger might last 6 days max... hahaaa... geeeeeez

Myeongdong dates back to the Joseon Dynasty when it was called Myeongryebang. During the Japanese era the name was changed to Myeongchijeong and became more of a commercial district, being influenced by the rising commerce in the neighboring Chungmuro area. It became the official district of Myeongdong in 1946, after independence.
After the Korean War and into the 1960s, the economy blossomed and the financial sector from Namdaemun-ro and Euljiro gradually expanded into Myeongdong. The area flourished as city renovations took place and highrise buildings were built. Many department stores, shopping centers, restaurants, upscale shops and boutiques set up their businesses in Myeongdong and it became the mecca for the young and trendy in the 1970s.
Besides being a major commercial and financial district, Myeongdong has been a popular location for political demonstrations and protests, especially during the turbulent years of the 1980s and 1990s. Myeongdong Cathedral has been a frequent spot for many of these demonstrations and still is to this day.
As of March 2000, Myeongdong's has been designated as a special Tourism Promotion Area and is one of the stops on the official Seoul City Bus tour's main route.
Another thing Anita and I saw as we were out driving a couple of weeks ago. This was right next to the hobbit houses. The last time we passed through here there was only one hobbit house and now there are three! I don't think this little shed was painted then as I sure did not notice it. The words on the front say: Let the beauty of the .....?... and our God be upon us. The sign on the side says "Smile, your on camera". LOL.. well I expect we have been on plenty of cameras in our rides out and about!

It is interesting to me how a crisis brings life into focus, elevating relationships, family, neighborhood, love and kindness, while diminishing glitz and glamor, materialism, and selfishness as we take stock of what is really important.
