Yes, I know, I need to sweep.
But... but... you can actually WALK on it!
And yes, those are more (unused) patio cover post holders. I'm sure there's two more on the other side of the bench.
One of these days I'm going to have count to see how many the yard has.
I'm going to guess... 12.
I can actually only picture 11 in my head, but that number sounds... odd... so I'm rounding up.

O.k. Yet another old rotting building. This is not a barn, I don’t think. I believe it’s a Feed barn and a Trappers Dry House. Or whatever they are called. It has Four rooms and a feed stall. A place to fatten up a Cow before…..Well you know. And a big room for hanging skins to dry. There’s still a deer skin on the outside above the door. I remember when it looked like a deer skin. First time I have ever got a close look at it. In the summer its completely covered in vines and growth .Hard to shoot because of all the growth around it now. but I tried.

The village of Upper Slaughter in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds is one mile away from Lower Slaughter and resides on a gentle grassy slope above the stream that connects the two villages.
Once the village was dominated by a Norman castle but all that can be seen of it today are the remains of the motte and bailey.
The building that dominates Upper Slaughter is the beautiful gabled Manor House which is one of the finest buildings in the area. The oldest part of the house dates from the 15th century but the front is Elizabethan. The Manor is now a hotel.
