View of Upper Campbell creek in the Alaska Chugach State Park east of Anchorage. Powerline pass is just to the right of the distant peak. In another month all this will be covered in snow.
Upper Doyles River Falls - Shenandoah National Park, Virginia (South District)

28 ft height. Mile 81.1 along Skyline Drive, Doyles River parking area. 2.6 mile round trip hike.
You may also opt for the 7.8-mile loop hike, which connects with the Jones Run Falls.

Had a constant breeze blowing in this area so the leaves are somewhat blurred. AAARRGGHHH!

Upper Pierce Reservoir, Singapore
The sunset there never was. Colors as I imagined. It was actually a really blue evening with the sun nowhere in sight.
The hike up to the upper Latourell Falls is well worth doing. You can walk behind the falls if you don't mind getting drenched in spray.
I found it interesting that different sources give heights to the drop of this waterfall ranging from 75 to 120 feet. Perhaps the reason for the differences of opinion is that the falls twists a bit. The part this image shows is probably the 75 foot section.
Founded in 1961, Upper Canada Village is one of the largest living-history sites in Canada. They endeavor to depict life in a rural English Canadian setting during the year 1866. They feature over forty historical buildings, many moved their prior to flooding of the “Lost Villages” during the St. Lawrence Seaway development project. These include homes, functioning mills and trades workshops.

Upper Antelope Canyon, called Tse bighanilini, "the place where water runs through rocks" by the Navajo, is on the Navajo Reservation outside of Page, AZ.
A buddy and I took a four day photographic road trip to Monument Valley, Antelope Canyon, and Grand Canyon.
On day 3, we booked a photographic tour with the nice folks at Chief Ray Tsosie's Trading Post. The Chief is related to Sue Tsosie, who was the first person to discover the canyon.
The best tour time to book to get shafts of light like this one is 10:30am.
Waterton Lakes National Park, August 2006
Upper Waterton Lake is split by the border of the United States and Canada. This shot was taken from the peninsula on which the Prince of Wales Hotel stands looking south towards the USA.
This photo was taken in the Yosemite Fall in Yosemite National Park. It had great upper fall and its reflection from calm stream.
Once early Victorian style had become popular, it seems to have borrowed from styles old and new from around the world. This house by William Thomas was presumably influenced by Dutch gables, though I don't think canalside houses in Amsterdam have balustraded balconies.

I've just bought an Epson FF-680W print scanner as I have a lot of prints as well as slides. It does a pretty good job and is very fast and easy. I just did a little bit of processing with Lightroom afterwards.
These are from a bushwalk I did in 1993 walking from the Lower Portals to the Upper Portals, where we camped the night, then back via a ridge and Mt Barney Creek again. Mt Barney National Park, Queensland.
