A long overdue visit to this honeypot location. Fortunate enough to have a little mist blow in and out.
After spending its entire working life shuttling between Elmers End and Purley on the 289, ENX18 is promoted to Superloop route SL5 which is seen in Shirley heading to Bromley North Station.

Stargazing myself to sleep; the gentle lake sounds during the night; not needing a tent; all were wonderful. Waking up within this, may have been even better.
Considering all the stuff I unnecessarily carried up, it was sweeter yet.

Silver Falls State Park, Oregon
Upper South Falls is one of ten waterfalls that can be found on a nine mile loop in the park.
Now that my mini article on the place has come out (over a month ago actually, January R&R) we'll take one last look at my last look (for now) of the Port Inland Railroad on a foggy final day of September.
Enjoying our city. Chicago is home to a wide-variety of sites that any photographer would love to shoot. The biggest problem tends to be that we live in a great city so we don't fully enjoy it like a tourist would enjoy it. Basically, we get robbed when it comes time for a high-rise view of the city because we aren't staying overnight in the city because we live so close. Recently, I booked a night at Hotel 71 and spoiled myself with a river-view. Some of Chicago's best hotels offer incredible views of the city that Chicago photographers often miss.
Listening for falling rocks apologies for language the rocks were quite loud and close before I started filming not sure how to bleep that out hahahahaha

The Heart Lake Trail leaves the forest to arrive at the Upper Basin of the Heart Lake Geyser Basin. Factory Hill lies at center, though its own geyser basin was not steaming on this day. Note the small unofficial trail at right.
This is more heavily processed than usual.

Upper Kananaskis Lake, along with the Lower Kananaskis Lake, is located in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park .
The lake is part of a series of natural and man made lakes in the Kananaskis and Bow Valleys used for hydro electric power, flood control, and water reserves for the Bow River water users.

A bit of a passive aggressive rant...
DO NOT INVITE ME TO JOIN YOUR GROUP if you are never going to allow any of my pictures in it. I do not have the ego to handle this.. You invite me, I tend to think it means you have looked at my stuff and found something interesting.. otherwise, why invite me in the first place?
So when I go through the group and see things that I can't for the life of me understand why they were chosen and mine is not... I take it much, much too hard.. and yes, I admit.. personally..
rant over (oh and it especially hurts when it is a street group and their pool is full of "hipshot" walkbys that have no story or interest whatsoever...)
